The biggest cover up of human history : The revelations that Jesus didn't die on the cross

As I indicated in the last post that Jesus didn't die on the cross. Here are the proofs in very brief. They can be more lengthy explanations, but i have tried to give ref. only from the New Testament. Because of volume and time i reduce them into as brief as possible. I ask God's grace for the realization of the truth.

1) Jesus remained on the cross for few hours only (according to New Testament it was approximately 3 hours, from noon till three). The death by crucifixion takes time, as it’s a painful but slow death.

2) The two men crucified with Jesus were still alive when taken down from the cross.

3) The breaking of legs was done to the two criminals, but dispensed with in the case of Jesus.

4) The side of Jesus was pierced and blood rushed out which was a sign of life.

5) Even Pilate didn’t believe that Jesus actually died in so short time. Read here Mark 15:44, Pilate was surprised that he was already dead (because they knew very well that so quickly a person can not die on the cross).

6) Jesus was not buried like the two criminals, but was given into the charge of a wealthy disciple of his, who lavished care upon him and put him in a spacious room hewn in the side of the rock. Very much likely that Jesus was given Essenic healing to recover in those three days before he was again seen in the garden.

7) When the tomb was seen on the third day, the stone was found to have been removed from its mouth, which would not have been the case if there had been a supernatural resurrection.

8) Mary Magdalene, when she saw him took him for gardener (John 20:15), which is only and only because Jesus disguised himself as a gardener. Such disguise would not have been the case if Jesus had risen from the dead.

9) It was in the same body and flesh that the disciples saw Jesus and the wounds were still there deep enough for a man to thrust his hand in. He even told to the disciples in his own words (Luke 24:38-39) Then he said to them “Why are you frightened and why do doubts arise in your hearts? Look at my hands and my feet, its me! (there were sign of wound from crucifixion on hands and feet still then). Jesus continued, “Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones like you see I have.”

10) He still felt hunger and ate with the disciples (Luke 24: 39-43)

11) Jesus Christ undertook a journey to Galilee with two of his disciples walking side by side with him, which shows that he was flying for refuge, for if his object had been to rise to heaven he would not have undertaken a journey to Galilee. Read in Luke 24:14 that Jesus himself was walking in disguise with the disciples who even didn’t recognize him at first.

12) In all post-crucifixion appearances Jesus is found concealing and hiding himself as if he feared being discovered.

13) Jesus prayed the whole night (before his arrest) to God to be saved. Read in Matthew (26:39) Jesus prayed this beautiful prayer to save him, “My Father, if possible let his cup (which symbolize suffering and death) pass from me! Yet not what I will, but what You will.” Ponder carefully about the words. These are the words of total surrender of a devotee to the Beloved and Jesus not having any father used to call God as his father.

14) His prayers were answered by the Lord in Heaven and it was a splendid way Lord saved Jesus.

15) The cry at the cross before Jesus lost consciousness which people took by mistake as death was, My God, my God, why hast Thou Forsaken me?”. Read Heb 5:7 where it is said, “When he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him who was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared.”

This is most probably what happened (God knows the best), Jesus was made to carry the cross (John 19:17) and was beaten severely with a whip before prelude to crucifixion, known to the Romans as verberatio mentioned in Matt 27.26, Mark 15:15, John 19:1. As result he became weak from trauma and loss of blood. He didn’t sleep the night before as he prayed deeply to God (and few nights as well as he was moving constantly). And also due to the pain and trauma at the cross Jesus lost consciousness and went into a coma. The enemies of Jesus thought he died. He was taken down by one of the disciple. (This is exactly how the plan of God executed in His grace). But in actuality Jesus was taken care very carefully.

Most Probably he was given healing by the Essenes. The Essenes called themselves Therapeutae, "healers," claiming that their austere lifestyle gave them the power to cast out demons of sickness and even to restore life of the dead. Considering this, Christ raising Lazarus from the dead seems a typical Essenic miracle. And similar method was applied to him to bring him back to consciousness.

He gained back his consciousness. Took disguise as a gardener and this is when Mary Magdalene saw him, she couldn’t recognize him. And after recognition, when Mary wanted to embrace him in clear voice Jesus said, “I have not gone to Father yet”. Going to Father means journey after death. This clearly signifies that Jesus himself said that he didn’t die (offcourse church has its own interpretation).

Jesus most probably left Jerusalem leaving the work to James and Mary Magdalene. And where did he go?

Research shows that Jesus went to India. And it was not for the first time he went to India. Many scholars believe that Jesus went to India even before. The time of his life about which all the gospels are mysteriously silent is the time we are talking about.

Many of the philosophies that Jesus talked as discovered in Gnostic Gospels and other Mystic Gospels, it is more clear that Jesus had influence of Eastern Thoughts. And many believe he learned them from the Buddhist and Vedantis (Hindus) of India where he spent some part of his life.

The second coming of Jesus and how it might happen is also interesting. What Da Vinci give hints (about the blood line of Jesus Christ) may well have relationship with the second coming. But for that part you have to wait for some more days.

I will try put more info about Christ’s going to India in the next post. There are life long researches from many scholars on the topic as well.

Why so little about Jesus’s departure:
In Mark there was no original description of Jesus’s departure. The additional texts were added later. you can see the footnote at the ends of Mark in any standard Bible

The chruch teaches that Jesus ascended to heaven, which if happened in reality would be given in great detail to strengthen the faith of the believers in Jesus. But such a supposedly magnificent event is writteen just in few lines. Thats something to ponder.

In Luke its ends like this:
24:50 Then Jesus led them out as far as Bethany and lifting up his hands, he blessed them. Now during the blessing he departed.

Look carefully in New Testament the following line, “and was taken up into heaven” was not even in the original text and its written in footnote. It was added later on to make false doctrines.

Very significant conversation with Mary Magdalene:
From John 20:24-17 : “She turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus.”

Now Jesus himself said that he was not ghost (Luke 24:38-39) or spirit in his post crucifixion appearance. Yet Magdalene didn’t recognize him though she was a close companion and a beloved one. What does it indicate?

Jesus was simply taking disguise to avoid re-capture and more chaos.

Now continue reading pls, John 20:16 : Jesus said to her, “Mary”.
She turned and said to him Aramaic “Rabboni (meaning teacher). Jesus replied, “Do not touch me, for I have NOT yet ascended to my Father (this is the most striking proof from Christ’s own word that he confirmed that he didn’t die on the cross)

May God bless Jesus and let you receive the truth in complete submission to the TRUTH. Amen.

Witness the biggest cover up : Seeking for more understanding

Is resurrection truly a coming back from death or is it just because of the fact that Jesus didn't die on the cross?

The proofs and evidences are in front of us for years and years. We failed to realize it because some people with authority interpreted as they wanted for us. At one time only priest had the right to read and write. They had the holy authority to read the holy scripture. So when they became corrupt, the whole system of organized religion was used and monopolized.

Now we can read the bible for ourself, can't we? You we also can check references to unearth evidences.

This is one of the most mindblowing fact about the divine life of Jesus that he didn't die on the cross. Believe me not? Before i put forward the proofs from the very same Bible that all christians and others read, lets see the history first.

To establish Jesus and to make him parallel to the pagan gods with splendid mythical stories with their names, the early church had to draw a picture of Jesus in a similar fashion so that the unsophisticated, illiterate minds of the general people can replace their pagan gods with Jesus. Even though Jesus was a humble human being (which in anyway doesn't change the fact that he was a Spirit from God, and Jesus was a blessed soul, a specially loved one by One and Only God), the church wanted monopoly with the religion. They had to use power at Council of Nicaea to suppress the truth, destroy and hide very important Gospels from true companions of Jesus, rewrite and reinterpret Jesus's divine message according to their wish.

You see a very sad but strong similie here. Jesus himself who all through his prophetic mission always stood against the priests (Pharisees), people who started trading religion for money, who turned Synagogues and Temples into market place ... after Christ left the mission ... it is the same kind of people came back into the picture again. Only difference is that they used Christ as a banner.

No doubt there was true saints, no doubt there was devoted believers of God and Jesus Christ, no doubt there were true people with true heart ... may God bless them all and raise them high in ranks in the heaven ... but to discover true message of Jesus in our time we have to look back at the histories, because they hold the facts.

Jesus was taken to crucifixion not because he loved people or he talked about Love neither because he talked about God; he was crucified BECAUSE he stood against some power hungry pharisees, high priests, the god-fathers of Jewish religion (Christ himself was a jewish, remember). You can see Christ's struggle against these so called religious people inside the New Testament, passage after passage. Time and time again you in New Testament you will find Jesus condeming such hypocrites, exposing their fraud behavior and publicly condeming their monopoly with religion.

These same kind of people (who came into organized power after about 300 years of Jesus's passing) used Christ himself to again monopolize the religion in his name. What a shame for us, what a shame for the humanity !!

Now once we understand what earlier christianity went through and the evolution, then we can prepare our mind to discover more truth and to find the true message of Jesus and to understsand his divine status as he wanted to know us.

Researchers and historians in growing numbers finding out that true followers of Christians were of very different nature. They were mystics, gnostics people who understood this world and its nature in a great depth and detail. They were mystics because their great master, Jesus himself was a true mystic in heart. What happened to those christians?

Who changed christianity in to a materialistic religion where you have to confess your sin to a priest rather than to God? Is it because only then people will turn to priest and give money to churches? Did Jesus prayed and confesed to priest in temple or to God?

Now some hints for you (check with New Testament, the older the better) to find seek whether Jesus died on the cross ...
0. First remove all the interpretation, biased understanding given by the church fathers. Clear out your mind and heart and then start reading. Remember its a journey to discover something grand. So do ask for blessings to God. Say, O Lord show me THINGS as they REALLY are. (amen).
1. Check the hints of time for which Christ was on the cross, (the total time Jesus was on the cross)
2. What words did Jesus speak with Mary Magdalene, who first saw him after his taken down from cross? These words are very important.
3. Ponder on the fact why Mary Magdalene didn't recognize Jesus, even though she was a constant companion. (forget what church interpret, think logically).
4. Why the event of rising to heaven of Jesus (even though claimed that seen by some) is given with so little detail? Isn't the even very grand and when ppl supposedly have seen this, doesn't it deserve some more details? Doesn't it end too abrupstly for a person's life story which deserved some more?
5. Cross check the even of crucifixion and the following events in four gospels and compare them carefully.

Think deep, think rationally. God willing, i will be posting some fascinating information about what happened at the crucifixtion. And you don't have to worry, because the evidences i put will be from the very New Testament we all have. You dont have to be a in a crisis of faith, knowing the truth doesn't bring crisis.

Knowing the truth makes one free, as said Jesus himself. Free of what? Free of bonding. And what does free of bonding mean? Its mean Nirvana, my friend. It means merging with grand consciousness with God.

Side Note: You shall know the truth ...

Have you ever thought about the fact that although in ancient times there were number of prophets and messengers sent as guide to mankind, yet there will be none in this modern age until the second coming of Jesus.

What does it imply? When once mankind were sent blessed souls with authority from God to guide, why not at our ages? Is it because we don't need enlightened prophets or is it because we have reached at a point when mankind is given an unparallel access to knowledge and truth?

The answer lies in the observation of collective human consciousness, access of information that is made easy, ease of communication, ease of sharing wisdoms of all ages unlike any time in the history of mankind.

Internet is a technology which modern day mystics such as Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee calls an extra-ordinary gift that demonstrate the mystic and hidden truth : 'everything is One'.

Internet technology shows us how everything can be One, as it is always one.

The reason why Gnostic Gospels, Gospel of Judas, Gospel of Mary Magdalene, The Dead Sea scrolls and above all the revealing of Jusus's true reachings are coming out of long dark age of secrecy is because mankind are getting prepared to embrace a new age when Truth will unfold itself.

Remember the most beautiful prayer of Beloved Jesus:
"and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" John 8:31,32

Human race are on a quest to know the Truth and make themselves free from bondings. We are living in an extraordinary time of divine awakening. And you are not only a witness, but you are part of the history.

Embrace it.

Writing from Singapore Airpot and posting from doha, qatar ... while waiting to catch a plane to Vienna, Austria. By God's Will, I will be in europe for about 20 days to attend a research conference. Wanna visit Germany and UK as well. Pls do keep me in ur prayres.

Witness the biggest cover-up in human history ... Madeup Doctrines ... only begotten Son of God?

One of the central theme of the teachings of Church is that Jesus is the son of God and only begotten son. This is how they start ascribing something to Jesus which he himself didn't teach. And many of the madeup doctrines hover around this idea that Jesus is God and also Jesus is the only begotten son of God.

Lets examine how the actual teaching of Jesus was distorted to makeup this doctrine. I will be using Old Testament and New Testament. The truths are and were always in front of our eyes for centuries.

Since there are many places in the Bible which say there are sons of God, it can be concluded that for someone to be called a "son of God" it conveys a higher religious position according to Biblical context, but it can not be taken to mean the literal Son of God.

There the two following problems when translating from Hebrew and Greek into English.

1. Since Hebrew has no "small" letters, the word son in Hebrew can be translated as Son or son in English.

2. Since Greek has no "small" letters, the word son in Greek can be translated as Son or son in English.

The following verses in the Bible are other references to the sons of God.

"You are gods; you are all Sons of the Most High." (Psalm 82:6)

"The Sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful..." (Genesis 6:2)

"You are children of the Lord your God." (Deuteronomy 14:1)

"Satan appeared amongst the Sons of God when they had gone to present themselves before their Lord..."(Job 1:6)

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the Sons of God." (Matthew 5:9)

Adam is called the Son of God. (Luke 3:38)

Ephraim is a Son of God. (Jeremiah 31:9)

Jacob is called the first born Son of God. (Exodus 4:22)

Solomon is called the Son of God. (I Chronicles 22:10)

Comment:
Luke 3:38 says Adam is the son of God, and we use interpretive license to make son into Son (with a capital S), and recall that Adam had neither father nor mother, we could conclude he is the literal Son of God ... However, we have to look at all the other verses and we understand that Adam was a magnificent creation of God, but not the literal son of God.

So what can we conclude about Jesus?

The Jews came to Jesus one time asking him to tell them directly if he is the anointed one. He explains that the works he preformed in his Father's name bear witness that he is the anointed one. He concludes by saying:

"I and the Father are one." The Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning me?" The Jews answered him, "For a good work we do not stone you, but for blasphemy; and because you, being a man, make yourself out to be God." Jesus answered them, "Has it not been written in your Law, `I said, you are gods'? If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, `You are blaspheming' because I said, "I am the Son of God?" (John 10:30-36)

The Jews misinterpreted his first statement when he said, "I and the Father are one." They assumed that he was equating himself with God, which he was not. He was figuratively saying that he is one with God in purpose. This is illustrated in another passage when Jesus prays to God on behalf of his followers. He asks God that they would be one in purpose the same way that he and God are one in purpose. He says, "... that they may be one, just as we are one; I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be perfected in unity...." (John 17:22,23). What did Jesus mean when he prayed for his followers to be one? He certainly didn't mean that they would be equal in a metaphysical sense but rather that they would be united in conveying the message he had given them, just as Jesus conveyed the message he had received from God.

The explanation Jesus gives in the former passage also clarifies that he is not saying he is the literal son of God. He has taken the metaphorical title given to prophets and princes in the Old Testament. The scripture he was referring to comes from Psalm 82:6,7 where it says, "I said, `You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High. Nevertheless you will die like men, and fall like any one of the princes.'" In a metaphorical sense, Jesus considered himself one of the "sons of God." Bible translators have misinterpreted this statement, capitalized the word Son, taken it out of context, and made it into a title as the "Son of God", which Jesus himself would have considered blasphemous.

Some may argue that this doctrine has little implication in our life? What is Jesus is not 'only begotten son of God' or what if he is?

When the understanding of our own nature is covered up ... when the very foundation of our own being is misrepresentated by some power hungry people, what can we expect from our own self?

Look at the west and the rest of the world? Has human being realized his Divine Nature, are they realizing? or Are they allowed to? Faithfuls turn to some high priests who misguide them so that they keep their power and authority?

Apart from the spiritual implications, there are some serious practical implications for our life. We will seek those answers when we uncover more from the Truth.

The bottom line is, all human being has the divine trace in us. From Adam to the last human being all are created in the Image of God. So exclusively putting the label to someone means we are made to underestimate our own nature. We are made to forget who we all really are ...

May God bless us all and may God show us the Truth as it is. Amen.

Witness the biggest cover-up in human history: some clarification

This is the first post of our quest to search the truth that is infront of human race for almost 2000 years yet we were given a different version of the story, time and time again. To give different versions of the story, the effort started about 300 years after the passing of Jesus Christ. Systematically Gospels were destroyed or hidden, which were written by constant companions of Jesus who heard directly from him, who walked and lived with him.

To remove misunderstanding, let me first start with some clarification.

1) I'm not a religious scholar, neither a bible scholar, nor a islamic scholar. i am just trying to put the puzzles together. the rest you decide by the Grace of God.
2) The information i provide here are taken from life long research of numerous historians, bible scholars, theologians etc. i will try to give my references at the end.
3) To make things easy to read, i will post briefly. for details pls refer to the references.
4) I will try to take a secular view, and will treat the religious scriptures as historical books to avoid biasedness of faith. i think thats give a more intellectual and scientific approach.
5) Pls put forward your points, questions in the comment section ... definitely we will read them and seek answers to them

Since this is posted in a blog, i will try to keep each post brief. but later i will compile the whole thing and may produce an article which i can share later. now it will be mostly short posts with sufficient proofs from Bible, history and scientific points.

Remember Jesus was a teacher to humanity, sent for the whole of mankind. He doesn't belong only to this church or that church. Neither only for Christians. Jesus belongs to all regardless of faith and philosophy. Everybody has the right to know his true message, no matter what.

Coming soon: Jesus Actually

The truth and evidences are right infront of our eyes. They are still in the canonical Gospels, they were told in The Quran, revealed 1400 years ago.

The truth about Religion doesn't have to be fairytales and magics ... they can perfectly be rational, intellectual, scientific and no-nonsense.

Lets discover Jesus, one of the greatest person who ever walked on earth from the history, evidences and rational mind. You don't have to abandon the Divine to understand what is truth. Because God is truth.

Those who got started thinking after reading Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code or the movie ... or those who are really asking what really happened to Jesus? Is his second coming necessarily have to be like that magical as interpreted? Does faith always need to be presented with magics? Can't faith be intellectual based?

For all of you, lets discover Jesus together, lets discover one of the greatest coverup in human history ... its coming soon ... here.

Da Vinci Code ... lets share our ideas

Last night The Da Vinci Code Movie was released here in Singapore and i went to watch it. Its was one of my most favorite book of all time. i honestly feel that Jesus (peace be upon him) as potrayed by the church is not the true image of this great personality. thus the study of his mysterious life is one of my most favorite research subject. and i should say that the movie was well made.

Interestingly few of the historical facts that Da Vinci Code puts forward today, was already spoken almost 1400 years ago by the successor of Jesus, Prophet Muhammad. In Islam it is the intergral part of the faith that Jesus was NOT God, but he was a mortal man and a mighty Prophet of God - just like an any other messenger. When you watch the movie, do observe carefully about the facts that how the status of Jesus was debated and changed over the history by some men who wanted monopoly over a religion.

Before you watch the movie, its recommended that you read the book. cause some of the aspects of the historical facts were soften to please the church. Don't just brush aside the idea that its a fiction novel. There are a lot of things (including this teachings) about Jesus that are altered over the ages, and interestingly those truths still can be discovered from the very Bible itself.

I would like to hear more about your thoughts about this movie and the message that it potrays. Pls do share your views. God willing we will have some interesting things to discuss in the coming days.

Food for thought : On Buddha and Jesus

As Huston Smith put it, Buddha and Jesus seem to be the only two people we know of concerning whom their peers asked not just "Who are you," but "What are you."

There was even a movement among some of Buddha's followers to make a god of him. Buddha himself rejected it, emphasizing how difficult he continued finding it to follow his own Eightfold Path.

Fortunately Buddha lived into his eighties and personally founded his religion instead of others doing it after his death.

Darius made this beautiful comment recently. i feel they express great insight using very little words.

Finding Myself

I see a mirror hung in that wall
But I don't think its working well,
i stoof infront and tried to look -
I tripped over, the mirror fell.

I see the water in the sea
But I don't think its very clear
When I leaned and tried to look
The wave splashed it away from here.

I got a spoon and held it close
My breath steamed the surface, so,
I wiped it clean right away
But the spoon dropped to the floor

I can't see myself anywhere
I asked for help from the wise
Look within your heart, he said,
And that, I think sure would suffice.

The tale of a wonderful book

I recently got this wonderful book 'Jesus & Buddha: The Parallel Sayings', edited by Marcus Borg. It is a remarkable book and at the same time the experience that i had while buying it may be worth sharing here. The parallel sayings are really breathtaking. I will share them in this blog time to time.

One day i was coming back from somewhere, saw this bookshop and went inside. There were lots of book as you can expect in any bookshop. While i was almost leaving empty hand, i saw this book. Its kind of those illustrative book printed on heavy art paper and comparatively expensive one. The kind that is not very suitable for a student like me to buy casually. It was 'good to hold and glance, but not good for the wallet' kind.

Yet, somehow i had this strange feeling that its a book of special status and i need to buy it. and i did without much thinking.

On my way back i was just looking at the intro section etc. I read this line, "You hold in your hand a remarkable and beautiful book." and these were the exact feelings that i had while i hold the book back at the shop, only difference is that the feelings don't have words. But they conveyed the same message.

And i went on reading the introduction. Let me share some from there, "In our modern times we have had translated for us the teachings of all the world's major religions, the wisdom of ages. Jesus and Buddha, two of the greatest holy beings ever walk on earth, inspirations to billions, are now meeting in an encounter of the spirit in the West. When we listen deeply to their words, we find that in many ways, they speak with one heart.

The brotherhood of these sacred pysicians, healers of the sorrows of humanity, was potrayed to me in a faraway land long ago. While studying Buddhism I had the privilage of visiting a monastery in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. It was built on an island by a master of peace know as the Coconut Monk and filled with monks during the war years.

Passing along the waterways in the midst of active fighting, our boat arrived at the dock where Buddhist monks greeted and escorted us around. They explained to us the teaching of nonviolence and forgiveness on which they had staked their lives. We ate together.

Then then they took us to the end of the island where, on top of a hill, there was an enormous fifty foot tall statue of a standing Buddha. Next to Buddha stood an equally tall statue of Jesus. They had their arms around each others' shoulders, smiling.

While helicopter gunships flew by overhead and the war raged around us, Buddha and Jesus stood there like brothers, expressing compassion and healing for all who would follow their way.

... What matters is not the scholarly or theological differences between Buddhism and Christianity, but that both offers direct teachings, instructions, practices, ways to conduct our lives and free our hearts. Jesus and Buddha say to us, even today, "Follow me."

Do we dare?"

When i came upto the point where it says, Jesus and Buddha was standing having their arms around each others' shoulders, smiling ... i coulnd't help but was already crying. When i read, Jesus and Buddha say to us, even today, "Follow me." Do we dare? ... it occured as if i heard them saying, "follow me". I was overwhelmed.

I was waiting at a bus stop with few ppl around me. i had to move away to hide and wipe the tears from my face. That line struck me so deep. As if i could see them standing on top of the hill, and i could feel the deep warmth of their heart with which they were having their arms around each others' shoulders, smiling.

Here is one of the most beautiful parallel sayings of Buddha and Jesus from the book:

There is one truth, not many. It is open to all. See and know this for yourself. - Buddha

The Kingdom of God is within you. - Jesus

( i feel very uncomfortable to share my own feelings and experience here, cause they r not worth and i'm afraid of my ego. yet i posted this cause i was really touched by the wisdom of this two great teacher of mankind. may God forgive me for any personal ego or pride on my part )

Sharing from my side, my thoughts

I recently got this comment in the blog by RA, "By far, 1 of the more interesting religious blogs I've stumbled across. ... I am unclear, however: are you buddhist, muslim, sufi, or do you decry most labels, & borrow what you need from other sources?

Be forewarned, however: I am a western infidel, as are my readers, & as such, we tend to be irreverant & sacrilegious. But you strike me as a polite fellow, which gives you high marks in my book."

Here are my thoughts which i wished to share with you all and RA as well.

Dear RA,
I take this opportunity to thank you for the comment. I personally believe that all the Prophets and Teachers, namely Abraham, David, Moses, Buddha, Jesus Christ, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon all of them) were teachers for the humanity. It is us (the so called followers) who divided their teachings, interpreted them as we wished for, divided human race into sects and groups over the generations.

Jesus never said, "Make a new religion called Christianity." All he wanted was clear out the corruption in the name of religion and God, he was a reformer, a blessed teacher. Jesus was a jew, yet part of the jews rejected him, another part misundestood him so much that they called him God and created a new religion all together.

Buddha never asked for a new religion. He showed the path, called Dhamma. He was a hindu by born and in his philosophy as well. He was one of the greatest enlightened teacher of mankind who ever walked on this face of earth.

Muhammad from the very beginning never claimed a new religion. Islam is not a new religion. It is "the submission to the Divine Will" and it calls on to the primordal attitude of submission to the Supreme Soul. The term Muslim was used by Prophet Abraham, which means the person who submits to Divine. Thus Islam inherently accept all the Prophets and Messengers and Teachers of mankind as Holy Guides sent to mankind by the grace of God.

The Holy Scripture of Hinduism, Upanishads and Gita appreciate and pay homage to the same Supreme Soul which Jesus called "My God and your God". The very word Hindu means he who seek the Truth. Aren't we all then Hindu who aspire to know the Truth?

Aren't we all Muslims if we submit and say the same prayer with Jesus,
"Our Father, Which Art in Heaven,
Hallowed Be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom Come.
Thy Will Be Done in Earth, as it Is in Heaven."

Never in the history of human race we had this opportunity to share all the divine wisdom at the same time. Never we came to such close understanding of all the teachings of great teachers of mankind.

I personally feel this truth that all the religion speak the same. We only need to open our heart to receive the Divine Wisdom that is inside all the message of all time.

That is my inspiration.

And to answer the question, who am i? Am i a muslim, buddhist, hindu, christian or sufi?

Well i was born in a muslim family and being the last divine religion, i follow Islam. All religion has many purposes, and one of those purposes is to help one understand the truth and make one disciplined. i try to follow Islam because it helps me in my path or dhamma.

Yet, i can also say I am a Christian, a Buddhist, a Hindu, a Jewish, a Taoist and a Sufi (or a Mystic if you like). This is my explanation why i can say that. I posted this long time back.

And you used the term "western infidel". My friend thats a political term created by some fanatics who doesn't undestand a single word what it means to be religious. If they don't respect the children of God (the whole creation, every single human being and every single life on earth), then does God need them or does He listen to their prayers? a big NO, because God is independent of His creation.

Thanking you,
Sadiq

Mother

"Paradise lies at the feet of the Mother" : Prophet Muhammad

One day someone asked the Prophet, "O Messenger of God, who is the person who has the greatest right on me with regards to kindness and attention?"
The Prophet replied, "Your mother."
"Then who?" He replied, "Your mother."
"Then who?" He replied, "Your mother."
"Then who?" He replied, "Your father."

Dedication all the mothers in the world.

Blessed Prophet Muhammad, the last messenger of God lost his mother at a very early age. He was born in a culture where female child was burried alive, as they were not wanted. Also women was treated in the most worst manner. His respect for woman, and specially mother was unparallel.

As a Prophet of God, it was Muhammad who brought back dignity to woman. He in the history of the world gave right to woman for the first time that woman should inherit property from family, woman should have the right to divorce and woman should enjoy all the rights as a man have. Yet with time, the culture of arab tribalism took over the message of the Prophet.

But if we go back to the history of Islam, and at the same time analyze the history we will see how much liberating force islam was at a time when europe was in darkness and women was given no rights what so ever.

Watch this video by one of the most popular singer, Sami Yusuf. Its also dedicated to Mother.

Sufi Wisdom : Four Enemies

We all have four enemies:

1. Shaytan or Devil: and his weapons are a full belly, and his prison is hunger.

2. Desire: and its weapon is speech, and it is imprisoned by silence.

3. This world: whose weapon is to meet people,
and it is imprisoned by retreat.

4. The self: whose weapon is sleep and it is imprisoned by sleeplessness.

: by Shaykh Ahmad Ibn Amīr—may Allāh bless his soul.

Shaykh Ahmad Ibn ‘Isā az-Zarrūq—may Allāh bless his soul—commented:

One is required to take the middle path in these four matters, and to begin with the most important.

Whoever finds that hunger is more important to him, he should not eat more than he needs,

and to whomever silence is more important, he should not speak except about what concerns him.

Whoever finds that retreat is more important to him should not meet people, but should keep away from them.

Whoever finds that sleeplessness is more valuable to him, should sleep only the amount he needs. Excess is harmful in everything.

Too much hunger can spoil reflection. Too much silence can spoil wisdom. Too much sleeplessness leads to insanity, and too much retreat leads to boredom.”

Secrets of Mansur al Hallaj and Reality

Separation is for the realization.

Realization to the true way of love.
The love that wants nothing,
The love that needs none,
Not even the beloved.

Because in such a state of reality
lover and beloved is not two,
Separate? Never!
but two becomes one.
Together, ever!

Behold! that is the secret of sufi
Mansur al Hallaj's saying,
'Anal Haqq',
Lo! A true lover in total submission and annihilation.
Merged in Divine Love of the ultimate Beloved.

© Sadiq M Alam
for http://mysticsaint.blogspot.com

Mansur Al Hallaj (c. 858 - March 26, 922) is one of the most celebrated yet misunderstood mystic that mankind ever had. He was and is celebrated by all true mystics and lovers of God, who understood what he meant exactly, while people of blind faith totally misunderstood because of the blindness in their hearts.

Mansur al Hallaj, May Allah sanctify his soul, was crucified for his saying, "Anal Haqq", (Haqq being the name of Allah, literally haqq in arabic means reality, truth) in a state of Fana or Final state of Nirvana.

Those theologian who sentenced him to death (initially they all refused to even judge on him) on the charge of herecy even accepted that Mansur was right from the knowledge of Hidden (ilmul Ghayeb) perspective. But he spoke something which was not meant to be spoken in public, the collective consciousness of human race was not yet ready for it.

He spoke something in which lies greatest secret of the cosmos. The secret that was once open to mankind through Upanishd, Gita but made apparently hidden in the middle, but again will made manifest in final days.

Hints was always there hidden in Prophet Muhammad's mystical saying that,
"He who know himself, knows Allah."

Also, "God says, man is my secret and I am his secret."

Jesus said, "Behold, the kingdom of God is within you"

Perhaps the secret can also be found if we see why God often speaks in terms of 'We' in Quran, not 'I'.

Also we find in Quran, And be ye not like those who forgot God; and He made them forget their own souls! (The Quran, 59:19)

No more can I speak. If you truly wants to realize the ocean of wisdom of what I just mentioned, I can teach one beautiful prayer of our beloved Prophet, Muhammad "O Lord, show me 'things' as they really are."

I pray with you all so that The One show us things as they really are. No other prayer you will ever need to seek and realize the truths and The Ultimate Truth (Al Haqq).

May Allah bless Muhammad and his holy households, and May Allah send millions of saalams upon him and them.

There is no spoon !

Many of you have seen the Matrix where the young boy says to Neo; “There is no spoon!”

When I first saw that scene it struck a huge chord with me. At first Uri Geller popped into my head but then I started to think about the way the we are taught to see matter and energy.

I remember being in a Physics lecture at college where the lecturer was telling that in reality, we do not have the ability to touch anything. It is only through a kind of repulsion do we get that feeling. So in reality, you have never touched a spoon you have only been able to grasp it to the point where the repulsion on both sides provided enough pressure to levitate the spoon!

We are in constant levitation, hovering just above the floor and the repulsion not allowing us to make contact with the ground. So in theory, we are constantly flying!

What an absolutely incredible thought. Try telling a young child that and watch their reaction carefully…the innocence with which they will understand and believe much faster that adults.

That spoon is energy bonded so tightly and has the vibration which forms what our brain interprets at the spoon. A tool, a solid object used to put food into the human body.

We habitually forget the beauty of nature and once in a while I love taking a step back to adore her beauty. I work with computers and sometimes I forget the magic that they constantly are perfoming in front of us! a small electrical signal passes down loads of wires and transistors and and then as if by magic I can see my loved ones over a webcam!

Please don’t take the small things around you for granted. Stop and have a look around once in a while, observe the immense beauty of what goes on around you!

:: I discovered this wonderful and thoughtful post (slightly edited) in a blog, The Power of Choice that I would highly recomment.

Thanks amit for allowing me to share it here. Keep up the wonderful work of spreading higher consciousness to the world. Behold! Surely the Universe communicate through your heart and mind. The heart of the conscious soul is the medium of communication of the Divine.

The language

In different part of the world, from time immemorial human being pray using differnet language and words to speak to God, or to say to pray to God. Apparently the approach, the way they speak and even the language vary tremendously. Sometime it varies so much that one accuse the other of blaspheming, crossing the limits etc. But they don't realize that God understand all, He loves diversity and thats why the nature is full of diversity.

Here is a nice story i found in the website, Warrior of the Light by Paulo Coelho.

The languages that God speaks

A Spanish missionary was visiting an island when he came across three Aztec priests.
“How do you pray?” asked the priest.
“We have only one prayer, “ answered one of the Aztecs. “We say: “God, You are three, we are three. Have mercy on us.”

“Beautiful prayer,” said the missionary. “But it is not exactly the prayer that God hears. I shall teach you a much better one.”

The priest taught them a Catholic prayer and went on his way to spread the Gospel among others. Years later, on the ship taking him back to Spain, he stopped at that island once more. From the deck he saw the three holy men on the beach – and waved farewell to them.

At that moment the three began to walk on the water towards him.
“Father! Father!” shouted one of them, approaching the ship. “Teach us again the prayer that God hears, because we can’t remember it!”

“It doesn’t matter,” said the missionary, seeing the miracle. And he asked God to forgive him for not understanding before that He spoke all languages.

In Islamic Tradition where Prophet Muhammad, blessed be his soul says: God doesn't look at your appearance but He looks at your heart. So your work and your reward will be according to your hearts sincerity.

Blessed be the soul

Our soul is blessed with the impression of the glory of God whenever our lips praise Him.

:: Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan

Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:

There is a necessity for praise in prayer, praise of the beauty of God, for man must learn to recognize and praise the beauty of God as manifested in all His creation. In this way he impresses beauty on his soul, and he is able to manifest it in himself, and he becomes the friend of all and is without prejudice. For this reason the Sufi cultivates his heart. The emblem of the Sufi is a heart between two wings, meaning that when the heart is cultivated man can soar up into the heights of heaven.

from http://wahiduddin.net/mv2/V/V_34.htm

"Why does God need praise from me? Who am I that I should offer Him praise?" True, we can never praise Him enough; never can our praise be sufficient, but our souls are blessed with the impression of the Glory of God whenever we praise Him. The soul could praise God every moment and yet wanting to praise Him yet more, it is constantly hungering and thirsting to find the Beauty and Perfection of God. By the praise of God the soul is filled with bliss; even to utter the name of God is a blessing that can fill the soul with light, joy and happiness as nothing else can do.

from http://wahiduddin.net/mv2/archives/prayer.htm

One might ask what effect prayers can have upon the soul, which is pure and aloof from everything. The soul, when it sees the external self bowing before God, rejoices and is glad. Prayer gives nobility to whoever prays, be he rich or poor. The attitude of a prayerful person towards God is that of a lover towards his beloved, of a child towards its parents, of a servant towards his master, of a pupil towards his teacher, of a soldier towards his commander. ...

There are many virtues, but there is one principal virtue. Every moment passed outside the presence of God is sin, and every moment in His presence is virtue. The whole object of the Sufi, after learning this way of communicating is to arrive at a stage where every moment of our life passes in communion with God, and where our every action is done as if God were before us. Is that within everyone's reach? We are meant to be so. Just think of a person who is in love: when he eats or drinks, whatever he does, the image of the beloved is there. In the same way, when the love of God has come, it is natural to think of God in everything we do.

Neoplatonic Love

"Love was the basis of Neoplatonism. Plato's Symposium argued that love was the active force which bound everything together; Ficino argued that love was "only another name for that self-reverting current from God to the world and from the world to God" (Panofsky 141). Love had motivated God to "spread himself" into the world, and love motivates men to return to him. Love's ultimate goal is reaching God, who manifests himself in beauty."

- Deborah Vess

"Ficino developed a concept he called Platonic love, which had far-reaching consequences in the history of love and social reality in the European tradition. While Ficino believed that the human soul pursued contemplation more or less in isolation, he acknowledged that human beings were fundamentally social. When the spiritual relationship between God and the individual, sought through contemplation, is reproduced in a friendship or love with another person, that constitutes for Ficino spiritual or Platonic love. In other words, when the love and spiritual activity in a friendship mirrors the love for God, then the two individuals have attained the highest type of friendship that they can. Ficino did not condemn sexuality or erotics nor deny that Platonic love was only possible outside sexual relations; his only concern was the nature of the spiritual bond between two people."

- Richard Hooker

"[Shakespeare] A man of the Renaissance influenced by the Neoplatonic ideal of love, he is referring to the basic eternal principle of love that is structured into the world, and underlies everything else -- friendship, love between man and woman, love of children. We yearn for this eternal, unchanging love. It alone defeats death and the vagaries of time."

Deep Mysticism: Lataif-e-Sitta

Drawing from Qur'anic verses, virtually all Sufis distinguish Lataif-e-Sitta ("the six subtleties"): Nafs, Qalb, Sirr, Ruh, Khafi, and Akhfa. These lataif (singular: latifa) designate various psychospiritual "organs" or, sometimes, faculties of sensory and suprasensory perception. They are thought to be parts of the self in a similar manner to the way glands and organs are part of the body.

Its a deep mystical stuff. But if you are interested can continue reading from wikipedia ... click here.

Interesting Reads : Art and Healing

The American Heritage Dictionary define 'Art' as: Human effort to imitate, supplement, alter, or counteract the work of nature.

And if we ask, what is the 'work of nature'? The nature is the playground of the Divine, the Artwork of the Divine and it is the countless manifestation of the Divine. No wonder when people get involved with Art, their souls are nourished. When people engage in a creative process like Art or Painting, they basically manifest the same role as the Divine. And since human being are made to resemble God on earth, to be the image of God; so creative art works magic for human being.

Here are some interesting reading on Art and its connection with our soul, healing capacity.
