on Thanksgiving | Message from the Quran

If ye are thankless, Truly God is independent of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are thankful, He is pleased with you.

No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another.

In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in the hearts.

There are numerous passages in the Quran where God ask mankind to be grateful and to give thanks to Almighty God. And offcourse God gives us the choice either to be grateful or ingrateful. We read:

Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight.

Lo! We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will). (76:2-3)
